To make healthy production with the fertilizer recommendations made in accordance with the plant grown by having the soil samples taken from their own production areas analyzed in the Soil Analysis Laboratory. To provide farmers with brochure-supported information and trainings for obtaining soil samples.
BRIEF INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT
Determination of soil structure, soil reaction value (pH), lime ratios and amount of organic matter as well as the amounts of many elements, especially nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, are determined. After this analysis, the structure of the soil is revealed and the producer can make the right fertilization at the right time, as well as preventing excessive and wrong fertilizer application, thus protecting the soil and water resources and directing the producers correctly.

To plan which product will be planted where, when and how much, to support small producers under the roof of cooperatives and unions. Thanks to this application, it is possible to access market prices in many expense items such as producer market prices, medicine, fertilizer, diesel and feed prices. To support domestic animal breeds, to grow the small producer.
BRIEF INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT

With the “Mera İzmir” project, which has been implemented as one of the most important links of İzmir Agriculture, it is aimed both to reduce water consumption in agriculture, to ensure that the producer is satiated in the place where he was born, and to bring together millions of people living in İzmir with healthy food. Within the scope of the Mera İzmir project, a purchase-guaranteed working model with producers was implemented.
BRIEF INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT
For the Dairy Processing Factory, which has a daily milk processing capacity of 100 tons, with an investment cost of 120 million TL, in an area of 7 thousand square meters in Bayındır; In Menemen, Bergama, Kınık, Seferihisar, Urla, Güzelbahçe and Çeşme, a total of 535 shepherds signed a milk purchase contract and started to purchase milk. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has determined a price of 11 liras for sheep’s milk, which was 7 liras, and 10 liras for goat’s milk, which was 5 liras. For sheep and goat milk, an advance of approximately 3 million lira was invested in the producer.
PROJECT DURATION

A shepherd’s map was prepared, which includes the number of animals and barn locations of producers engaged in pasture farming in İzmir. It is a database study initiated to maintain, develop and support pasture animal husbandry in İzmir.
BRIEF INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT
The shepherd’s map includes information such as the producers engaged in pasture livestock, the number of animals they own, and the locations of the corrals. The Shepherd map is created by transferring the data collected as a result of the field studies carried out within the scope of the Mera İzmir project to the geographic information system. The data were collected by visiting all the neighborhoods in İzmir and visiting the sheepfold. A total of 30 districts, especially the districts of İzmir where animal husbandry is concentrated, such as Menemen, Aliağa, Bergama and Kınık, were visited by field teams. As a result of the visit, it was determined that there were a total of 4,658 shepherds in 30 districts of İzmir. According to the results of the shepherd’s map, there are a total of 542 thousand 794 pasture animals, approximately 142 thousand goats, 384 thousand sheep and 16 thousand black cattle grazing in the pasture in Izmir.
The Shepherd map is also used to determine the producer from which Izmir Metropolitan Municipality will buy milk. In order to purchase milk, the producer must put his animals on pasture at least 7 months of the year and must not feed them with forage crops such as silage corn that cause excessive water consumption. Thanks to the criteria, both the naturalness of the product is preserved and a step is taken in the fight against drought causes such as excessive water consumption.

Unusual weather changes, which are the result of global climate changes, cause serious losses especially for our producers. Starting from the districts with a high agricultural potential, especially in Kemalpaşa, Selçuk, Menemen and Ödemiş Districts, with the “Agricultural forecasting and early warning systems” established due to the need for technological systems to inform the producers about adverse meteorological conditions, pests and irrigation measures, and to inform the producers locally, temperature, air humidity, precipitation amount, wind speed and direction, soil temperature, insolation, soil moisture etc. 11 units of “Agricultural forecasting and early warning” systema was established in total in Kemalpaşa, Selçuk, Menemen and Ödemiş districts to increase yield and quality of the product, as well as to prevent losses in spraying and irrigation, by receiving local frost and storm warnings, early warnings against climate and pests, spraying and irrigation recommendations.
BRIEF INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Agricultural Forecasting and Early Warning System established in the districts is a system that produces its own energy needs with solar energy panels on it. It records the data it detects with the sensors on it on the system. Then, these data are interpreted and processed by the Agricultural Engineers appointed for this job in the Chamber of Agriculture and the Cooperative, and they are converted into sms messages as simple data. These sms messages are also sent to registered producers as meaningful and simplified messages. Producers who receive these messages can be guided correctly, and by using the right amounts at the right time, they can protect their products against the risk of frost and hail, as well as fighting against diseases and pests.
