o Izmir City Council was established pursuant to Article 76 of the Municipal Law No. 5393 and continues its activities with its affiliated assemblies. There are 4 councils in Izmir City Council.
o The Assembly for the Disabled aims to contribute to the formation of a Barrier-Free İzmir, where the needs of people with special needs are met, the society and the disabled are informed about the problems arising from discrimination, and equal and equalizing services, and there are 2 working groups under it.

The Children’s Assembly aims to have children take a role in the city administration, decision-making mechanisms and social life and represent them.
The Youth Assembly aims to increase the participation and representation of the youth in the city administration, decision-making mechanisms, and social life, and to increase the cooperation and solidarity among the youth in Izmir and Turkey.
